2025 Shooting Competition

Join us for an exciting Live Fire Shooting Competition during National Law Enforcement Week, honoring the dedication and skill of our nation’s finest. This dynamic event will feature four live-fire stages—two handgun stages and two rifle stages—designed to challenge participants’ speed, accuracy, and tactical proficiency.

Competition Overview:

• Stages:
  • 2- Handgun
  • 2- Rifle
• Scoring Method:
  • Hit Factor Scoring (Total Points ÷ Total Time = Hit Factor)
  • Participants will be placed according to their cumulative hit factor score.
• Divisions:
  • Handgun Only
  • Rifle Only
  • Overall Champion (participants who compete in all 4 stages)

Round Count:

• 25 rounds allotted per stage

Requirements:

• This is a live fire event—eye and ear protection are mandatory
• All participants must sign a liability waiver prior to competing
• Firearms must be handled in accordance with standard safety protocols

Times:

Check in starts at 0800, competition starts at 0900.

Prizes:

Black Rain handgun is 1st place for Handgun division.  Black Rain rifle for the rifle division.  Dead Moose Ops custom knife for combined rifle/handgun best overall score. Plaques for 1st-3rd in each division.

Registration: 

On location. Open to public and law enforcement. Cost is $30 per person.
